Huntly
|
Greg Manning, President of the Rotary Club of Huntly, and his wife Maureen hosted their second Garden Party in aid of Polio Plus at Snipefield, near Insch on 16th August. Over seventy Rotarians and friends, including a relaxed Assitant Governor Andrew McCartney, enjoyed an afternoon of good food and company. The day's fun was topped by a closely fought croquet match played to the Snipefield Rules which the men won by a narrow margin having had a large lead at one point.
The party realised £600, making a total of almost £1,200 raised to date for Polio Plus.

Assistant Governor, Andrew McCartney and his wife Margaret seen taking a relaxed view of the serious competition.
